Before ITALY
In 2009, thanks to the activities of the center-right government of Berlusconi, Tremonti
duo, the country will achieve economic firsts
consolidating leading position in the EEC and world.
According to the predictions of all the official bodies (IMF, OECD, EEC) confirmed in the "Combined Report on the Economy and Public Finance" issued by the Minister Tremonti has the following bad picture:
* WEALTH ' ITALY (GDP) - 4.4% (-70 billion € less wealth)
* DEBT 106 to 116% of GDP (about € 1.7 trillion)
UNEMPLOYMENT * 9% more than a million new unemployed
* FISCAL the record of 43.5% with the big hands of the government smashing in the pockets of the honest Italians and save evaders.
These numbers are unfortunately not provided by the "crows spreading pessimism" but by the talkative (Ministry of Economy-Tremonti) that govern the economy of the country, which hitherto had always denied the existence of a crisis.
But the worst thing is for Abruzzo: the municipalities concerned have verified that in the decree NO The money promised. There is only 1 billion (instead of 8) of which 300 million already spent on emergency and more planned in 2011, managed by the State rather than by the municipalities. Once again, words and walks of government. The common call for the direct management of Abruzzo, which is controlled by the people, execution speed, reconstruction from the state as in Umbria and Friuli. The PD is with them
The ITALIANS are called to reflect such negative information before presenting a "real country" in trouble and very different from the "VIRTUAL VILLAGE" which is touted by state media. The PD
reiterates once again asking the government to listen to the deaf, that to combat the crisis really should be:
- jump-start the economy with immediate real investment (also works in small municipalities and ready to begin immediately and in a few years as the Messina Bridge )
- To facilitate bank lending to the small to medium enterprises and trade (control over banks)
- an immediate reduction of taxes for the most needy.
- immediate relief for all of 2009 with a monthly allowance of unemployment for those who can not take advantage of the redundancy (project workers, temporary workers laid off).
- Create a plan for the conversion to renewable clean energy of energy that can produce thousands of jobs (as in the U.S.) especially in the south and let us save money by buying less oil.
- Development, Defense and promotion of Made in Italy,
- INTEGRATION with European countries for a common!

Subject: Adopted at Rome City Hall Resolution XI "Establishment of the Registry of living wills and end of life provisions"
La Junta del Municipio Roma XI voted the 'Establishment of a registry of living wills and end of life provisions. "
The resolution, which was founded by a motion passed by the City Hall in center-left majority and the Civic List Friends of Beppe Grillo, having as its first signatory of the Democratic Party Executive Councillor for Health, Antonio Bertolini, offers residents a great opportunity in terms of respect for civil and constitutional rights .
addition to biological tests, the choice of religious attendance and eventual cremation, as well as the availability to organ donation, are the cornerstones of resolution that has seen the Democratic Party del Municipio Roma XI united in respect of bioethics, the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union and the Italian Constitution.
The three Councillors of the Democratic Party Municipio Roma XI
Alberto Attanasio, Nicola mullet, Carla Di Veroli
Gabriele Basile elected coordinator of the town hall XI
Monday, March 30 at the Literary Cafe in Via Ostiense, there was the vote for the coordinator of the circles of the municipality of Rome XI. The assembly competent, composed of all members of the coordination of the 6 PD 11 circles of the town hall, has given confidence to the only candidate Gabriele Basile, by a vote of 66% of those eligible and 97% of voters. The circle
Montagnola sends his greetings to Gabriel in view of his difficult task.
Motion Congressional PD, Hall XI, on living wills
Resolution XI of the PD conference in City Hall on "Measures of the therapeutic alliance, informed consent and advance directives for treatment," the aftermath of ' approval in the Senate of the prohibitionist law, which has undermined the "living will." The motion wants to engage senior managers of the Democratic Party to pursue any attempt to to pass legislation on living wills to ensure true in a secular state, without interference from the policy itself, much less to religious authorities, who want to opt with the personal choices that are not limiting with respect to these issues who has a different feel and wants to share it and spread it consistently without taxation.

Ilvo DIAMONDS (La Repubblica)
The Right - The center, to use a politically correct language - has made the territory a cornerstone of their identity. For the Northern League is the most important. A reference to the association. Made visible by a widespread local presence. Through the gazebo, the volunteers in uniform, patrols the same (sometimes in green shirt). Fiscal federalism, approved by Parliament last week, helps to reinforce this image. It is not known, today, to what extent will ensure, in fact, responsible for the autonomy of the regions and local authorities. However, it is a flag planted on the ground. To use an oxymoron: a "convenient symbol, which makes it seem real and actual effect of a law passed, but not yet in force.
The main right-wing party (sorry, center right), the PDL, has increased its relationship with the territory, making it almost a trademark.
not so much because the merger between Fi and An electoral geography has drawn a precise and complementary to that of the League. Then: Central and South. But because the PDL has developed and is developing a "localized" deeply associated to the "places". This, in our opinion, the main reason for the success of the public - if not critical - Collected by Silvio Berlusconi after winning the election. This may seem strange and almost paradoxical. Berlusconi is the Lord of the image. Of "politics as marketing." Its territory coincides with the "media space". First of all with television. Not by accident, in recent days, has been involved by controversy relating to nominations for the forthcoming European elections. Selected few, not by the "presence" in the party and the country. But the "nice" presence. It is enough.
Silvio Berlusconi. In recent months, the last year, has built its image - as well as that of the government - in direct relationship to the "places" who have focused the attention of Italians. In the last month: Abruzzo and locations of the earthquake. The tragedy which has caused the emotion and solidarity of the people. The pain and destruction: in the spotlight, the cameras. Daily: L'Aquila, Onna. And Berlusconi.
background Gianni Letta. Visible in its invisibility. In front of everyone - and dozer tread - Guido Bertolaso. Efficient Director of Civil Protection. Become an icon. Guarantor, in fact, the "protection" of citizens on the occasion of the catastrophes that strike - many, always unexpected and always predictable - in our country. So beautiful and tortured. Berlusconi's. In addition to earthquake victims. A witness to "his" solidarity and "his" presence: personal, political and as head of government. In Abruzzo, in a short time, will meet even the largest in the world. Led by Him Who, in the coming months and years ahead, will continue to go there. To monitor and emphasize that the reconstruction proceeds. The return to normal. (Perspective that - we first - we hope).
This link - direct, personal and political - between Berlusconi and the "places" in our view, gave rise to the popularity of Prime Minister at this time. Abruzzo is its recent example, but not unique. Just think of Naples, during the election campaign and aftermath of the vote. The city flooded by waste, in turn setting the stage and the media attended by all networks and from all newspapers. Do not just Italians. More effective than any political mobilization to depict the defeat of the project to "reconstruct" the South. And, therefore, Bassolino but most of the Left. Pardon: the center. Naples. Become the symbol of energy and almost miraculous Berlusconi's healing. Accompanied and supported by Bertolaso. In the background, invisible and therefore more visible, Gianni Letta. For a year, wastes seem to have disappeared. At least, the media. And from one year to Silvio Berlusconi continues to travel frequently in Naples. We meet at the government. Join the birthday celebrations. It simply passes through. A quick jump to see how things go and go. The identification of
Berlusconi's government and with the "place of the degradation and reconstruction", death and rebirth. And, together, the tie of the League - the alliteration is not accidental - with the area and in particular with the North. Make it clear, by contrast, the distance of the left opposition - pardon: center - from the territory. A paradox, because the Democratic Party is the heir of the major mass parties of the First Republic. The DC and the PCI. So deeply rooted in the territory and society characterized by the same definition of some geopolitical zones of the country.
Define "white" (the regions of the Northeast) or "red" (those of the Centre). Today the Democratic Party is busy with other matters. Of course, in its lists do not meet the European "tissue". But it has presented candidates and leaders especially poorly linked to the territory. (To put it mildly). While the mayors - the leading interpreters of the link with the territory of the Left during the Second Republic - did not enjoy great popularity. Especially those in the North. Their criticism of the party to secondment from local interests are met with impatience. And indifference. The Democratic Party as the PDL: it is personalized. Concentrated and separated in search of his Berlusconi is losing the principals in the area. Not only in the North. In Rome, after 15 years ruling the Right. In the South, seems to have left Naples and Campania, for over ten years the new "red zones". And in the elections of June, "European battle" seems more important for the Democratic Party, compared to the defense of the last strongholds: Bologna and Florence.
are witnessing, so, in a unique - and we dare say, historical - the reversal of parts. While the right builds and invents its places, the Left has forgotten us.
was utopian. Today is atopic.

About Nuclear
To avoid sterile polemics and be able to properly form an opinion, it is useful to assess opportunities and risks, and listen to all the experts with scientific training and high competence.
Below are two different opinions, the first of a large group of Italian scientists, the second Nobel Prize winner Carlo Rubbia.
He writes back to the greatest nuclear scientists Italians two years ago
Distinguished Mr. President, we the undersigned
, founders of the Galileo 2001, for freedom and dignity of science, I feel obliged to refer to His attention to the difficult energy situation that discriminates against our country, a situation the daughter of some irresponsible choices and long years of little interest in politics and mass media disinformation. Even more serious is the fact that facing today and imaginative solutions to the citizens in sharp contrast with the knowledge economy, science and technology, moving away so the choices with real prospects.
We do not believe in the rhetoric to argue that energy is the food of civilization and that without energy and without his careful use of a civilization can only disappear: more precisely, not energy production, but the availability of energy, abundant, economical, safe and administered competently, is an essential condition for the welfare and development of a country, and is what leads to competitiveness and employment and, consequently, civil progress.
Due to the energy dependence (imports more than 80% primary energy consumption) and the consequent high cost of energy (the electricity, net of taxes, coast Italians almost 40% more than the European average), Italy is losing ground in comparison with the economic European partners, with whom should instead pursue a more harmonious common energy strategy:
1. Today, the English enjoy 10% more primary energy than the national Italian, English, 25% more, 40% of the French and German comes in more than 65% more. Similar percentages apply to the electricity-only: compared to an Italian citizen, ranging from 10% used by the English in more than 55% more used by the German.
2. Italy is the European country with the largest electricity generation from natural gas and oil - expensive, polluting sources - and the largest direct import of electricity (51 billion kWh in 2003, compared to 2 billion kWh importing the UK, 1 billion kWh imported to Spain, and 10 and 66 billion kWh exported, respectively, Germany and France); fact, this, that also creates a risk to security of supply, such as blackouts of the recent past have shown.
3. The total electricity imported comes from nuclear power plants in Italy beyond the Alps. While - it should be recalled - in 2003, France, Germany, Spain and the UK produced, respectively, 420, 157, 85 and 60 billion kWh of electricity from more than 100 nuclear reactors in operation in those countries.
Given this objective situation and the urgency of action, there are politicians and the media that are spreading the illusion that it is possible to seriously address the power imbalance by making use of various new forms of exploitation ' renewable solar energy: wind, solar thermal or photovoltaics, and biofuels (which are all forms of direct or indirect energy from the sun). Or, making use of future technologies, today no prospects for practical implementation in both the short and medium term.
We believe that people should receive full information, delivered with honesty and without ideological prejudices: they must know the consequences for themselves and for their children, the decisions made with regard to energy policy and, especially, should not be deluded with promises that science most reliable and the most advanced technology can not help support.
Notwithstanding its paramount importance in all life processes, the energy needs of humanity for the renewable solar energy, in all its various forms, is certainly not the energy of this: it has met 100% of the human needs the dawn of time until a couple of centuries ago, whereas today the contribution of energy from the sun, if we exclude hydroelectric power, is - Italy as in the world - less than 1%. Nor will they see reason to believe that the future solar energy can make substantial contributions, in particular, it is unlikely, if not illusory, that the forms of solar energy other than hydropower can provide very significant contributions to the energy needs of our country . The wind power has already demonstrated in the country - Germany - more than any other that hath invested: very modest contribution is in fact the power that comes from more than 15,000 wind turbines installed therein approximately 3% compared to 30% from wind to nuclear power (whose installed capacity is in Germany, almost equal to the wind). Solar thermal produces hot water or air only, and to this end, the world uses less than 10% of its energy, of which the largest portion is consumed from the areas that may not make use of solar thermal and, in fact, it helps in world for less than 0.001%, also because it is much more convenient to use the energy from the gas or electricity in every building must still be connected. As for solar photovoltaics, to produce with this technology less than 1% of the electricity consumed by the Italians, the only photovoltaic panels (without installation, transformers, batteries and any) would cost a prohibitive amount of more than € 10 billion, and there are valid technical reasons to doubt that these costs may fall significantly. The country should also be clearly informed about the real prospects of biofuels: when you take into account the energy needed in the agricultural and industrial processes to produce them, the net energy obtained by them is of low relief. In any case, assuming the most favorable conditions, to save less than 5% of the only oil we consume, we should cultivate the entire surface biomass the Po Valley (over 45,000 sq km).
The world currently produces from all the new renewable sources combined - geothermal energy, waste, biomass, wind, and solar thermal and photovoltaic - less than 2% of the electricity it consumes. As production from these sources, Italy is already the third largest in Europe with 11 billion kWh produced in 2003 (on 10% of European production from these sources), but despite this, the electricity thus produced accounts for less than 4% of electricity consumed in the country.
Nuclear fusion and hydrogen, often cited as the technologies at hand, they are still at potential. The first is still limited to the stage of research with long-term prospects. As hydrogen - which is not a source of energy because it does not exist on Earth in the form used as fuel - its production requires more energy much higher than that obtainable by it, and for this reason its use on large scale is bound to the availability of abundant energy, economic and safe.
Today, the availability alternative to fossil fuels - polluting and increasingly expensive - is only offered by the technology of nuclear fission. A now well-proven technology, which is widely and safely used in most of the industrialized world, and can not hence continue to be excluded from our country's energy strategies.
We wish to emphasize that our criticism of this we do not propose to suspend, stop or slow down the research on renewable energy research that could lead, in a distant future though, to discover that no one can be excluded of course, new methods' Use of these forms of energy. This calls on our criticism only to food hopes not, both near and illusory, the solution of that great problem which is the country's energy situation and needs to be addressed responsibly.
We ask that you, Mr. President, to become a promoter - in ways that will consider more appropriate - for actions that lead to the dissemination of that information free and transparent is a necessary condition for a country to be truly democratic.
appreciate your consideration, we send our warmest greetings and, with the occasion, even the best wishes for the upcoming holidays and new year.

nuclearists In particular, the mathematician and physicist Tullio Regge minimizes the problem of radioactive waste:
"One of the systems used in France is to merge and glazed in an array insoluble with lead (absorbing radiation); Then the bars are lowered into the deep caves, where there are deposits of rock salt. Salt indicates that there has never passed water, that is the only one that could spread radioactivity.
The opinion of the Nobel Prize Rubbia:
We have to consider that nuclear power is an activity that can only be done in a very long time. We know that to build a nuclear power plant takes about five or six years, including ten in Italy. The bank that gives 4 to 5 billion euros to create successful, if all goes well, to repay their investment in approximately 40 to 50 years.
There is a second problem: an error that people often perform. It is believed that nuclear energy can reduce energy costs. This is not true: a recent study has shown, for example, that the costs of nuclear power in Switzerland will continue to increase.
The costs of nuclear power vary widely from country to country: in Germany comes at a price of about two and a half times more than the French. This is due to the fact that nuclear power in France has been funded for years State, then by the citizens. Even today, the 30,000 people who work for the French nuclear are paid through massive state investment. The increase in the number of nuclear power in the world in recent years has caused also a significant increase in the cost of uranium, which is unlikely to come back down. Nuclear power is therefore very expensive, even in the long run.
I think if we really wanted to adopt nuclear power in Italy could do it, but we should organize outline procedures to support this initiative. The amount of energy required is comparable to the French from Italy. Therefore if we wanted to produce 30% of electricity with nuclear power, as also happens in Spain, Germany and England, there would need 15 to 20 nuclear power plants. In practice, one for the region.
Each of these plants will produce a certain amount of slag, a very serious problem. In America the issue is topical. Both Obama and Clinton have made clear that Yukke Mountain - the largest deposit of waste in the U.S. - should be eliminated to find a more suitable site for the storage of radioactive waste. The solution to isolate them and bury them in fact is not as effective as one would like.
I wonder then: if you can not solve the problem of building an incinerator to be able to burn garbage, as we can accommodate these very large amount of nuclear waste that nobody in the world knows yet disposed of?
In reality, the answer was technically to retrieve the waste and make them harmless. I had a wonderful program to implement this technology to burn the dross of matter with accelerators. The program has been rejected and not funded by Italy, much to push me to emigrate to Spain.
Comments
very appropriate and interesting opinions on the two remaining
however it is quite controversial and difficult to address
final solution.
carries out certain considerations that I also stem from a certain
epserienza in the field of environmental
1) The traditional sources of energy, mainly oil
GasNatural and are highly polluting, especially oil and uncertainty over
dell'approvigionamento, comportnao
too expensive for the techniques of abbattiemento pollutants and still cause extensive damage to
'environment and health.
2) The energy from nuclear fission is cheaper in absolute terms as
KW produced but has very high operating costs because it requires
security technology and personnel with specialized super
safety standards at the highest level. Then there is the problem of disposing of waste
even though the new generation plants can produce it in quantities of
much lower (about a thousand times less)
3) The alternative and renewable energy on which we must certainly
point are not currently a solution to energy needs
Italy.
4) Since we are surrounded by hundreds of nuclear plants and
as we have experienced with the Chernobyl radioactive pollution
has no boundaries, the risk of contamination is too severe for Italy
very similar even if we choose the denuclearization.
5) Italy, which boasted one of the best traditions
both on the scientific and the technological advances in nuclear exports now
its technology abroad.
is not easy to take a position but I I personally do not have to call the resource bias
nuclear fission at least until you reach solutions that are economically
paraticabili
with other forms of energy.
